MAN Trucks India
History of MAN Truck & Bus in India began in the year 1958 with supply of the legendary SHAKTIMAN trucks to the Defence Ministry of India. However, MAN Trucks India started operations in India in 2006 as a joint venture. Eventually with the takeover of the joint venture, MAN Trucks India Pvt. Ltd became a wholly owned subsidiary of MAN Truck & Bus AG in 2012.
Trucks in the Cargo Line A (CLA) series are designed for the tough, challenging operating conditions of the African and Asian markets. The proven vehicle series comprises long-distance trucks, semitrailer tractors, tippers and mobile mixers with two and three axles.
MAN offers India’s most modern and most formidable range of heavy duty trucks, custom made to suit different applications and diverse operating conditions. After proving itself in the extremely demanding truck market, MAN Trucks India Pvt. Ltd. brings to India 45-seater Inter-City air-conditioned coach with full air suspension, powered by its legendary MAN D-0836, 220 hp, BS III compliant, Diesel engine developing 800 Nm@ 1200-1800 rpm, a six speed ZF 6S 850 Gearbox, MAN heavy-duty front axle and proven MERITOR hypoid axle.
